Manage categories

Before you begin#

You need category-management permission. Open a product editor and the management action beside Category.

Add or update a category#

1. Enter Category name and Order number.
2. Choose Add for a new category or Update when editing.
3. Return to the product editor and select the appropriate category.
4. Save the product to retain its category selection.

Before deleting#

Check the products that use a category before confirming deletion. Read any validation message if the change is refused.
