Choose the correct price model before selling.
Before you begin
Open the product editor with product-management permission.
Configure the price
- Check Pricing mode before entering prices.
- For item-based pricing, set the base price and any Price options.
- Keep one default price and check amounts before saving.
- For time-based services, configure Charge by, Each charge covers, and the billing strategy.
- Select Save, then review the product as staff will use it.
Time billing strategies
- Continuous time: charges for actual usage.
- Fixed time blocks: creates a charge for each full block.
- Round up to block: rounds usage to the configured interval before charging.
